Babu turns Pro

I was the one who forced my roomies to buy a TT table. Ajit and Prashanth are good players of TT. I loved playing TT at Mysore and Hyd. This was the main work at office when I was in Ipswich. My friend Naveen and I used to be present daily at the courts after lunch. Some days we were accompanied by Archana and Jessica. After landing in Melbourne, I desperately wanted to play TT. Playing at the health clubs were not feasible, so we decided to buy a table at home. The expert bidder Prashanth pinched a good deal on ebay and soon the table was delivered home. Prashanth bought a costly TT bat and I bought the balls. It was normal at our place to wind up any new stuff after a use of two weeks. Nothing exceeded a usage period of 2 weeks. When all four were present at home, which is very uncommon as Ajit is the one who is always missing. The days he is missing, he can be found either at the Guantanamo bay or at the MCG. Babu, the Singh was seeing the TT table for the first time in his life and felt really proud holding the TT bat in his hand. He showed keen interest in playing this game which he saw someone playing for the first time in his life. Day by day his game improved and soon he reached to levels and would beat Prashanth by a good margin. I am often reluctant to play with him to avoid disappointment of loosing the game. He often challenges Prashanth, Ajit and me for a game. The style with which he plays the game is commendable. If this continues for some more time, Babu will surely become a very good player capable of representing India in the international arena. Wishing him good luck..
