Travel to Chennai

I was not visiting Chennai for the very first time and still have the memories of roaming around Madras when I was a kid. In those times there were no direct trains to Kerala and we had to break our journey in Madras. Usually the whole day was spent in the city of Chennai seeing different places under the scorching sun or simply staring at others in the huge railway waiting room.
The best times were when we go to the Parry’s corner to see a variety of electronic goods and clothes spread around in small shops stretching a few miles. This certainly ignited the passion for electronic items in me. Though I couldn’t buy anything that time, this time I had the money to buy any stuff that attracted my attention. But alas I couldn’t find any good items nor could see the life and energy that existed in the olden days. Every thing has changed at the Parry’s.
One a Sunday I also found some time to go to the Marina beach all alone and sit there staring at the waves hitting the land. I boarded a local train back to Tambaram and from there a bus to Sholinganallur, where my Infosys office was located.
