A guy walks into a store with $0, with a motive of buying stuff. He walks to the customer service desk and applies for a credit card. After a brief credit check, the credit card is instantaneously approved. To his surprise he was approved for a credit of $1500. He walks around the store and buys things worth $700 which he promises to repay in the next 6 to 12 months. The person who had nothing when he walked into the store now has $700 worth of items in his bag and still had $800 to spend in the same store or elsewhere. This is a classic example where the stores want to sell their products to people who don’t have money to buy them or have the slightest intention of buying the item that they just brought.
