Flying away from Melbourne

It was a Saturday, the August 30th and it was just a normal weekend except for the fact that we are out of the bed early on weekends and usually late on weekdays. The packing started early for Lijo and I was still in bed watching him stuff all his clothes and other belongings into a black suitcase.
By 11 AM we (Lijo, Prashanth and I) were out of the house and were walking towards the Queen Victoria market. As were strolling around the market we were joined by Tarun and Praveen. Lijo bought some souvenirs from the market and Prashanth bought a bag for his camera. I bought a hooded jumper for myself.
Then we all went to the Indian shop and brought some food stuffs and then we all went to Taruns house.
The house was neat and clean and was fitted with all antique things. Then we all were back at our house and Prashanth made some tasty dosas for everyone. Everyone had their stomachs full and it was 5.00 PM and it was time to call the taxi to the airport.

Lijo checked in his luggage and we were waiting for him to go in for the security check. At 6.45 PM we all hugged Lijo and bade farewell as he started to walk towards the security area. We also could see him searching for the gate. Even then I could see Prashanth clicking snaps.

We took a taxi back home only to find Ajit drinking alone with a heavy heart as his good drinking partner had left Melbourne.
