The gang at Melbourne

I was a bit apprehensive before coming to Melbourne. The question whether I can find some passionate people who are always ready for a game here in Australia. But when I set my foot in the land of the OZ, I was soon surrounded by a gang of men and women who were always on the high on spirits.

Let me introduce all my friends.

We call him ‘Australian pandi’. Prashant a big body builder and an untiring photographer. He has a big heart and an equally big appetite. All he lives for is food. Movies and a few camera clicks. An electronic gizmo geek and a mobile phone expert and consultant. Loves all the spicy foods but never dares to put them any of them into his mouth.


The other gangster is nick named ‘Meesa madhavan’. The only guy with a moustache under his nose and loves Malayalam movies. Lijo Mathew from Kottayam never misses a Sunday mass. The undisclosed truth behind this Sunday going still remains a secret.


Next in the list of friends is a vagabond and a heir to an ancient royal throne who hails from Mumbai. Ajit wanted to be a pilot and was forced not to fly because of his weight and woos all girls with his model looks. One thing that Ajit and Lijo have in common is their choice of drinks.


This girl goes crazy on seeing a camera. Once the camera is ready for a shoot, she is all set with the poses. The repertoire of poses she has is unlimited. Tina is a girl with a smile in all the photos.




I wanted to write about all the guys and girls I know in Melbourne, but the lack of time prevents me from writing any more and will have to stop here… yes right here..
