Welcome to Thames Valley Park

I was out of my bed by 5.0 AM in the morning which occurs only when I have to leave to some unknown place or I have some significant work which is more important than my sleep. The previous day we all parted by promising to meet at the Ipswich rail station by 6.30 in the morning. I wanted to be the first one to be at the station and I arrived at the station only to find Naveen waiting for me. Anyways he lives very near to the station and it won’t take much time for him to reach the place. Even Archana arrived just in time to board the train to London Liverpool.

After an hour of travel we reached the Liverpool Street and headed towards the Paddington in the metro. Our friend Naveen was astonished seeing the particularly clean trains and their good speeds. The travel in the London underground metros always delighted me. We inadvertently hopped into the slowest possible train bound for Reading at the Paddington that around an hour to reach Reading which we could have reached in 25 minutes by a fast train.

We were all thrilled at the sight of the Thames Valley Park which was visible from the train. We hired a taxi and went straight to the Rainbow hotels which Naveen had booked for us the previous night. We just dropped all the bags at the hotel room and took the next taxi to the Microsoft Thames valley park.

A few software giants like the Microsoft and Oracle were located there. We made our way into the reception and waited for Mr. Richard Florence after getting our visitor passes. The magnificent building and the excellent facilities inside the Microsoft enthralled us. We were looking forward for the lunch even as Mr. Richard was forcing some technical non sense to us who were in no mood to accept that. The lunch was superb and we all had a share of the free drinks available there.

Our plans for enjoying three days at the Microsoft office were cut short by Richard who dint like the idea of us being there at his office. By 3.30 PM we were escorted out of the building and even never got a chance to try the latest X boxes at the Microsoft. Even the photos taken by us in the lawn were forcibly deleted by the security.

After a hard day we all just walked back towards the hotel making plans for the rest of the day. We planned to go to South hall and enjoy some good Indian food stuffs and we all were soon on the train back to Ipswich.
