Flying with the British Airways

After flying in the low cost carriers in India, boarding the British Airways was a welcome break. That was my first flight out of my motherland. After a weary travel from Mysore to Bangalore international airport, i found some time to take some rest and chat with my dear old friend, JD kutta. The check in of my baggage relieved me of 120 pounds even before I set my foot on Britain.
After a sleepless night and waiting at the airport, the sweet voice 'Welcome to the British Airways' buoyed my spirits. The smartly dressed pilot showed me the way to my seat. And soon i was taxying out of my country and in a few moments i reached an altitude of 36,000 ft, the highest point that i have ever been in my life thus far.
After a couple of drinks, cold and hot food stuffs, 2 movies and a senseless sleep, i was descending on to the land of the English. I was peeping out of the window and the sight outside did not make me glad. It was not the same place i dreamt of, instead it was the same as the place I came from.
Anyways, i was happy to be there, i called up the taxi and was on my way to my friends place in a Mercedes Benz. After an hour of drive, i was standing on the door steps of my friend Sharath's house. I had to wait on the doorway till a beautiful Russian gal opened the door for me and offered me some coffee in her kitchen.
